  23. <h2>General Information </h2>
  24. <p>   HDD Temperature is a very small and very simple program. It runs in the background and displays the current temperature of your hard drives in the system tray.<br>
  25.    Right-click the temperature icon to open the menu, left-click to open the settings. <br>
  26. <br>
  27.      Now HDD Temperature supports integration with <a href="http://mbm.livewiredev.com/" target="_blank">Motherboard 
  28.   Monitor (MBM)</a> - we add all your hard drives starting from "Sensor 5" 
  29.   of MBM. To use it, just set the sensor type to "Custom". Sorry, but currently MBM does not support customizing the sensor name, so you will not see your hard drive model in the sensor name.<br>
  30.   <em><strong>Comment: in version 1.4 this function is temporarily disabled.</strong></em></p>
  31. <p>    Multilingual support: To begin translating, copy <strong>English.lng</strong> into the <strong>yourlanguage.lng</strong> <br>
  32.   Please, translate the text only after the character '='. <br>
  33.    <strong>Limitations:</strong> There is one limitation in the multilingual support - your system locale must be identical to chosen language. If not, you can see unusual characters. For example, if your current system locale is English, but you choose Japanese, you will not see your translation.<br>

  35. <h2>What's new?</h2>
  36. <p>    The main new feature in version 1.4 is the one executable for free and pro version and new utility for network deployment and configuration.  Also we implemented the support of XP balloon hint window (in the system tray area) and fixed a lot of bugs! <br>
  37.    The other best features of <span class="HDDTempName">HDD Temperature</span> were also improved - such as the system hibernation in case of hard drive overheating. We <font color="#990000"><strong>highly</strong></font> recommend that you always have this option on. If <span class="HDDTempName">HDD Temperature™</span> detects any hard drive overheating, it immediately will hibernate your system (if this feature is supported) and turn off computer.<br>
  38.    It helps you save all your data (after returning from the hibernation mode, they will remain as they were before it) and save your hard drive!<br>

  40. <h2>Requirements & Limitations of the freeware version.</h2>
  41. <ul>
  42.   <li>Only IDE hard drives are supported.</li>
  43.   <li>Not all external (Additional or RAID) controllers are supported so far.</li>
  44.   <li> Only new (modern) hard drives can measure their temperature. If you do not see the temperature in the system tray, your hard drive does not support this feature. </li>
  45.   <li> The freeware version supports only one drive (displays the temperature of your first drive only).</li>
  46.   <li> The user cannot disable the splash screen in the freeware version. </li>
